NTA Opens NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund Portal for Candidates

Applicants can now submit bank account details online till May 27 for processing of NEET UG 2026 fee refunds

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has activated the refund portal for NEET UG 2026 candidates seeking reimbursement of examination fees, according to a public notice issued on May 22.

In the notification, the agency informed candidates that a dedicated facility has been made available on the NEET UG 2026 registration portal for submitting preferred bank account details to process refunds.

Candidates must log in using their registration credentials and access the refund link available on the portal. They are required to provide details including the account holder’s name, bank account number, IFSC code and bank name. The NTA has also allowed candidates to upload a cancelled cheque optionally to ensure accuracy of bank information.

The agency clarified that once candidates submit their bank details, the information will be treated as final and no further modifications will be permitted afterward.

According to the notice, the refund submission window opened on May 22 and will remain active till May 27, 2026, at 11:50 PM.

The NTA further advised candidates not to initiate any chargeback process related to the NEET UG 2026 examination fee payment.

The latest announcement comes in continuation of the earlier public notice issued on May 12 regarding refund of examination fees for NEET UG 2026 candidates.
