Statements of four FIR complainants are expected to form a crucial part of the ongoing judicial proceedings into the death of the Assamese music icon

Guwahati: The trial related to the death of legendary Assamese singer and composer Zubeen Garg entered another important stage, with the court scheduled to record the testimonies of four complainants linked to the case.
According to sources, the individuals expected to depose before the court are Rahul Goswami, Gautam Bhattacharya, Raj Goswami and Dipankar Thakuria, all of whom had earlier lodged separate FIRs in connection with the matter.
Their statements are considered significant to the proceedings and are expected to provide additional inputs that could aid the court in examining the circumstances surrounding the death of the celebrated artiste, who passed away in Singapore on September 19, 2026.
