Draft electoral rolls for Kajalgaon, Darangajuli and Rowta will be published on November 7, with final lists scheduled for November 30

Guwahati: The Assam State Election Commission has initiated the voter list revision process for three Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) constituencies ahead of proposed by-elections, with draft electoral rolls scheduled to be published on November 7.
The constituencies covered are Kajalgaon, Darangajuli and Rowta. The commission has scheduled the publication of the final electoral rolls for November 30, marking a key step towards the proposed by-elections.
According to the schedule, eligible voters can file claims and objections to the draft rolls until November 21. The commission has set November 27 as the deadline for disposing of all claims and objections.
However, the State Election Commission has not yet announced the polling dates for the three constituencies.
The revision of electoral rolls is an important preparatory exercise ahead of the by-elections, ensuring that voter lists are updated before the electoral process moves forward.
