Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu met Amit Shah in Delhi and presented a report on the state’s development progress and future priorities

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and presented a comprehensive report on the development and progress achieved in the state during his decade-long tenure in public life.
Khandu shared details of the meeting in a social media post on Monday, saying he briefed Shah on major development initiatives and ongoing projects across Arunachal Pradesh.
The discussions focused on efforts to accelerate development in the strategically important northeastern state, with infrastructure, connectivity, security and economic growth remaining key priorities.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the Centre’s support and acknowledged Shah’s continued engagement with the affairs of Arunachal Pradesh and the wider Northeast. He said the people of the state remained appreciative of the Union Home Minister’s support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, development and prosperity.
The report presented during the meeting highlighted the progress made during Khandu’s tenure and various initiatives undertaken by his government.
The meeting also underscored the importance of continued coordination between the state and Union governments, particularly for major infrastructure and development projects in the frontier state.
