Guwahati: Assamese actor Sukanya Boruah is continuing her international film journey as Not a Hero, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Rima Das, heads to the 31st Busan International Film Festival in South Korea for its Asian premiere on October 8, 2026.
Set in rural Assam, the coming-of-age drama follows an 11-year-old boy navigating life in a village. The film will be screened in Busan’s A Window on Asian Cinema section, bringing another international platform to a story rooted in Assam’s landscape and everyday life.
