Tata Electronics invites Assam’s skilled professionals for key roles at its Jagiroad semiconductor facility; applications open until February 19 for walk-in interviews on February 21–22
Guwahati: The Assam government has shared an exciting opportunity for job seekers in the state. Tata Electronics is hosting a walk-in recruitment drive at its Semiconductor and Assembly Test Facility in Jagiroad, Assam, on February 21–22, 2026.
The company is looking for skilled professionals with at least three years of relevant experience for positions such as SMT Process Engineers, Test Equipment Managers, Industrial Engineers, Quality Leads, Program Managers, and others. The interviews will be conducted at the MDP Building, Training and Placement Cell, near the Chemical Engineering building, Assam Engineering College, Guwahati-781013.
Candidates must submit their applications by February 19, 2026, and reach the venue before 9 AM on the respective dates. Only shortlisted applicants will move forward in the selection process. Tata Electronics has clarified that no payment or security deposit is required at any stage of recruitment.
The Chief Minister urged eligible youth to seize this opportunity, describing it as a major chance for Assam’s skilled workforce to enter the fast-growing semiconductor industry.
