Guwahati: Guwahati is set to host the 45th edition of the Water India Expo from June 2 to 4 at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, bringing together major stakeholders from India’s water and wastewater sector.
Organisers said the three-day exhibition is expected to attract more than 120 exhibitors and over 5,000 visitors, including manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers, consultants, entrepreneurs and industry experts from across the country.
The expo will showcase innovations linked to water treatment, reverse osmosis, recycling, filtration, desalination, UV disinfection, membranes, chemicals and domestic water purification systems. Solutions related to packaged drinking water and wastewater management will also be featured during the event.
Alongside product displays, the exhibition will host live demonstrations, technical presentations and networking sessions aimed at encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the sector.
Officials said the event comes at a time when sustainable water management and advanced treatment technologies are gaining increasing importance across India, particularly in rapidly growing urban regions.
Representatives from government departments, engineering organisations, manufacturing industries, builders, distributors, consultants, academic institutions and system integrators are expected to participate in the expo.
The Guwahati edition is also being viewed as a key platform for discussions on innovation and water sustainability in the Northeast.
