Guwahati: Assam is preparing to welcome one of the biggest names in rock music as Guns N’ Roses gears up for a live performance in Guwahati on November 17, 2026, further cementing the state’s growing reputation as a destination for international entertainment.
Announcing the event, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma described the concert as another milestone for Assam’s cultural and tourism landscape. “Delighted to welcome the legendary Guns N’ Roses to Guwahati on November 17, 2026, bringing one of the world’s most iconic rock bands to Assam,” he said.
The concert, scheduled at Khanapara Ground, forms part of the band’s two-city India tour and follows a performance in Bengaluru on November 14. Organised by BookMyShow Live, the show is part of the Asia leg of the band’s ongoing world tour.
Fans can purchase tickets from 11 am IST on June 9, while members of the band’s Nightrain Fan Club will receive early access through a special pre-sale window beginning June 8.
Known for timeless hits such as Sweet Child O’ Mine, November Rain, Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle, Guns N’ Roses remains one of the most influential rock acts globally.
The announcement comes months after Guwahati successfully hosted Post Malone, reinforcing Assam’s ambition to attract large-scale international events that boost tourism, local businesses and the state’s global visibility.
