Pijush Hazarika Files Nomination from Jagiroad: Eyes Fourth Term

BJP leader invokes blessings of Maa Kamakhya and Sankardev, vows tireless work and development

Jagiroad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pijush Hazarika on March 20 filed his nomination from the Jagiroad constituency, formally entering the fray for the upcoming Assam Assembly elections.

Sharing the development on social media, Hazarika invoked spiritual blessings and reflected on his long-standing bond with the constituency. “With the blessings of Maa Kamakhya and Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev, I have filed my nomination from Jagiroad,” he said.

Addressing supporters, he also emphasised the party’s commitment under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma. “Today marks a significant moment for us. Under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma, we will demonstrate our strength and carry forward our work with renewed commitment.

The BJP leader further asserts, “We have delivered in the past, witnessed progress, and will continue to build on it. We seek the trust and support of the people. We will work tirelessly, day and night, with dedication and integrity, ensuring development for all,”

Highlighting his personal connection with Jagiroad, Hazarika added, “Over the years, this place and its people have become a part of who I am. I carry that with me as I take this step, with gratitude and responsibility.”
