Assam CM Rolls Out Rs 47 Crore CMAAA 2.0 Aid: Launches Four Bridges in Tamulpur

CMAAA 2.0 supports 4,768 entrepreneurs. across Tamulpur, Baksa and Udalguri, along with the launch of four RCC bridges, which boost regional connectivity

Tamulpur: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday distributed over Rs 47 crore in financial assistance under CMAAA 2.0 to 4,768 entrepreneurs, combining livelihood support with key infrastructure projects across Assam.

At a ceremony in Tamulpur, beneficiaries from Baksa district and Udalguri district received cheques aimed at strengthening small businesses, startups and self-employment opportunities under the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan.

The Chief Minister also virtually inaugurated four RCC bridges over the Matanga and Balti rivers to improve connectivity, ease transportation and enhance access to markets and services.

The twin push for entrepreneurship and infrastructure is expected to accelerate grassroots development and move the region closer to the goal of an Atmanirbhar Assam.
