The exercise was organised as part of preparations for a final earthquake mock drill scheduled for the following day. It aimed to assess readiness, streamline response mechanisms, and enhance coordination among departments to ensure swift and effective action during emergencies.

The session was held in the presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), South Salmara Mankachar, and the District Project Officer (DPO), DDMA.
