Aunachal CM Pema Khandu Virtually Inaugurates Entrepreneurship Development Institute

The initiative aims to foster entrepreneurial culture, promote MSMEs, and enable SC/ST youth to become job creators under schemes like the National SC-ST Hub and PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu virtually inaugurated the Entrepreneurship Development Institute in Jote, a landmark step to strengthen entrepreneurial culture among the youth.

The programme featured inspiring experience-sharing by beneficiaries of the National SC-ST Hub, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, and the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme, showcasing how these initiatives are transforming aspirations into successful enterprises. Entrepreneurs excelling under these schemes were felicitated, reaffirming that empowering MSMEs is key to building a self-reliant and Viksit Bharat.

The National SC-ST Hub is a crucial step towards inclusive entrepreneurship, enabling SC/ST youth to become job creators rather than job seekers. It was heartening to see aspiring entrepreneurs, students, and young minds actively participate in the Mega Awareness Programme organised by the Ministry of MSME.

As MSMEs form the backbone of the economy, empowering grassroots entrepreneurs today strengthens India’s growth story tomorrow. CM Khandu actively participated in technical sessions of the National SC-ST Hub Scheme Awareness Programme, engaging in meaningful discussions and responding to the thoughtful queries of young participants.

The Chief Minister urged the youth to step forward with confidence and embrace entrepreneurship, emphasising that building an entrepreneurial culture goes beyond starting businesses, it creates opportunities, generates employment, strengthens families, and transforms communities at the grassroots.

“When our youth become job creators instead of job seekers, the entire community progresses. A vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem is essential for inclusive growth and for realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat,” he said.
