The Yatra will cover key towns across Assam, including Dhekiajuli, Tezpur, Rangapara, Dhemaji, Tinsukia, Nalbari, and more, connecting with citizens at their doorsteps.

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will begin the Jana Ashirwad Yatra on 28th February, aiming to meet people across the state and seek their blessings ahead of the 2026 elections. The first phase of the Yatra will span 28th February to 9th March, covering important towns and districts.
The Chief Minister posted on his social media platform about the announce, stating, “With the blessings of Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev, our government has completed five years in the service of Aai Asomi.” Expressing his gratitude and enthusiasm, he said he feels honoured and humbled to have served the people of Assam.
To celebrate this milestone and strengthen direct engagement with citizens, the government will commence the Jana Ashirwad Yatra on 28th February, aiming to meet people at their doorsteps and seek their blessings ahead of the Assam Assembly election 2026.
This outreach initiative is designed to bring the leadership closer to the people, ensuring their voices are heard at the grassroots level.
