Assam CM Inaugurates Rs 228 Crore Flyover: Launches Rs 2,109 Crore Projects in Karbi Anglong

Chief Minister inaugurates 54 projects, lays foundation for over 100 others and opens new flyover to boost connectivity

Diphu: Himanta Biswa Sarma, on Wednesday, inaugurated the four-lane Khorsing Terang Ingjarkap Flyover in Diphu, marking a key milestone in the infrastructure development of Karbi Anglong.

Constructed at a cost of Rs 228 crore, the flyover is expected to ensure smoother traffic movement, ease congestion in the town and significantly improve connectivity in the district headquarters.

During the visit, the Chief Minister also dedicated, launched and laid the foundation for a series of development initiatives worth Rs 2,109 crore across the hill district.

A total of 54 projects worth Rs 816 crore were inaugurated, while foundation stones for more than 100 projects worth Rs 1,293 crore were laid. The projects cover a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, connectivity and civic services.

Officials said the initiatives are expected to accelerate development in the district and create new opportunities for local communities.
