State BJP leaders convene in Guwahati to finalise arrangements and mobilise booth-level workers for the 14 February programme

Guwahati: The Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday held a special meeting in Guwahati to review preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming ‘Booth Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ scheduled for 14 February.
The meeting, chaired by State BJP President Dilip Saikia at the party’s state headquarters, focused on organisational responsibilities, coordination, and mobilisation of booth presidents and grassroots workers to ensure the success of the event. The meeting emphasised the meticulous planning and collective effort in the lead-up to the Prime Minister’s visit.

Information and Public Relations Minister Pijush Hazarika, who attended the meeting, said detailed discussions were held regarding logistics, participation, and other preparations.
Union Minister of State Pabitra Margherita, MPs Bijuli Kalita Medhi and Pradan Baruah, convenor of the Election Management Committee, along with convenors and co-convenors of 18 departmental sub-committees, were also present.
Party leaders said the preparatory meeting is expected to energise the cadre and strengthen booth-level organisation ahead of the forthcoming elections.
